The operation of the plant will pave the way for other similar projects in the locality, he said.

When operational, the plant is set to produce approximately 60 million kWh of power each year, helping to enhance the capacity of the national power grid.

The project includes the construction of a 110kV transformer station in Thanh Hoa district, a road system, a pumping station system for reservoirs and a 9km transmission line.
